A Touch From Heaven Part 1

A Touch From Heaven Part 1

By Pastor Jaco Mostert 22 July 2021

People don’t always get into the presence of God as they are suppose to. This can be due to limitations in our mind that is not in line with what the Bible says. Or, their minds are too connected to the things of this world. I believe God want people to experience His presence so that they will be able to fly high like an eagle, where all the problem of this world must fall off and die. It’s easier to live and breath in His presence than in the natural, here on earth. Matthew 11: 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will [o]ease and relieve and [p]refresh [q]your souls.] This is a supernatural thing that God does to help us. But He says “Come to Me”, and this is where we can choose to go to God, or choose not to. You can visit God without implementing “Coming to God”. It’s like going to church to visit Him, but not opening up to Him with all the things in our life. Matthew 11: 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ([r]relief and ease and refreshment and [s]recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. I see here that God is not somebody that is just going to barge into your life and take over your life. He has already given His Son and paid the price for us - Now we have to respond. God want’ to lift us up into a place with peace that surpasses all understanding, and rest. Many aren’t in this place because they haven’t gone to Him yet. Remember, God doesn’t need anything from us. He own everything, and wants to only help us. He is waiting for our response to what He has already done. He wants our honour, thankfulness, praise and worship. Matthew 11: 30 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, [t]good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. What God wants us to do, isn’t difficult. What He wants us to carry, isn’t difficult. The things in your life will be easy for you to bear. Keep in mind that it isn’t the same as what others need to bear in their life. God knows what each can handle and won’t give us more than that. It will be light and easy. It’s tailor made. It’s too hard for us when we are not IN Him.
