Sanctification Part 2

Sanctification Part 2

By Pastor Jaco Mostert 22 July 2021

Hebrews 12: 14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.  Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.  We can see that peace with all men, and holiness is very important God. John 8: 31 - 32 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” It is important that the glasses we look through at life, is the Truth. There will either be “Truth” or “Lie”. By holding to the teachings of Jesus, we are then really His disciples but will also only then know the Truth. Remain faithful to His teachings and that’s how the truth will be known by you and set you free. John 8: 37 - 45 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.[b]” 39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered. “If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would[c] do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.” “We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Do we have room in our heart for His Word? Read the passage careful and see that it’s not only that people have a friendship with a lying demon, but it’s a sonship. When lying takes place, deception takes over. It is also stealing from a person. The liar is stealing the fair chance from a person to make the right and well informed decisions. Many people are a vessel for lying demons and deception. They trick people with lies. They withhold the full truth to make things work out the way they want it to. Why am I telling people this? To help people realize what they are busy with, and to encourage them to turn from that and seek the Truth and to operate from nothing but the Truth. It so that you can see the Lord. To see the Lord is to see Life! He wrote a book about your life before the foundation of the earth was laid, and it is only found in Him, the Truth.
