How to Pray in this time Part 1

How to Pray in this time Part 1

By Pastor Jaco Mostert 23 July 2021

We discuss the problem of celebrating Halloween but also how we should operate during this time of pandemic and potential threats around the world. Halloween is not something a child of God should participate in. It’s a satanic celebration you are joining. If you even just share something or participate in some way or another, you are giving it a place in your life. While it’s something that God hates, you should also hate it and not participate in it in anyway possible. It’s also not something to make a mockery out of if you’re a child of God. We’ve had a lady that struggled to get rid of water spirits simply because she decided to “get back at satan” by getting baptized on Halloween. It was mocking satan. And this gave him an open door to send water spirits into her life. You should repent and renounce any participation in Halloween. Ephesians 6: 10 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. This is a season where we have to be strong in the Lord’s power. Not our own. In the Name of Jesus we are strong. We are strong because of the authority that we have in Him. The world is facing a trying season, but as a child of God we should take our authority and bring everything down from Heaven into our natural world, as a means to resist and oppose the schemes of the devil in our life. If the devil wants to bring racism into our land, we should say we do not allow this, in Jesus Name! We loosen the promises of God in our life and nation. Ephesians 6: 11 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Even though people don’t want to believe that the devil is always up to some scheme in our life, doesn’t mean he isn’t. According to the Bible we should stand against his schemes. He is also clever in the ways he approaches one. So we should be alert and attentive. As much as the devil has power, we have delegated authority over his power. If we say stop, he should stop. In Jesus Name.
