What will God do in 2022

What will God do in 2022

By Pastor Jaco Mostert 29 August 2022

Word for 2022 The Word that the Lord has shared with us for 2022 is the following Scripture: Isaiah 35: 1: 11 The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, 2 it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God. 3 Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; 4 say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” 5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. 6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. 7 The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. 8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. 9 No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, 10 and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. We believe the Lord wants us to apply verse 3 – 5 towards others, to help and strengthen people in the Lord as this year will come with its trials. We need to encourage each other; check up on each other and help each other. While we are busy waiting for the glory of the Lord we have to be busy caring and feeding His sheep. Verse 5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. This is the awakening we are waiting for. We are waiting for people’ eyes to open and ears to hear because many can’t now see what must be seen. Verse 6 Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. What seems like the impossible, is what we can expect God to do is this year. He is going to do above what we can think or dream. We can read through that whole passage again, and take in what God is promising for 2022 God is allowing things so that His church will be awaken, at the right time God will remove the veils from people’s eyes. But in the mean time our prayers are being captured in bowls in heaven, which He keeps there, and at the right time He will pour it out. Everything we pray according to God’s will, He will do. Unfortunately, the process and suffering is what brings people to their knees. I’ve seen very tough and prideful people needing to go through things to become humble. We do think that in 2022 the Lord will permit another wave of something from the enemy, that the pressure will be turned on more in 2022. But the Church who is in right standing with God is safe. We are safe in and on His hand; we are protected and provided for. We are not going to worry like the world. If we look at other countries, like Australia, the UK and in the US, we can see that the controlling agenda around the pandemic is much stricter there than what it is in our country South-Africa. I believe this is the case because those countries haven’t been on their knees as we had to be in the past years for our country. I believe we’ve been coming humbly before God, so now we do see His protection over us. But as His children, whatever comes we can handle and all things will work together for us. Colossians 1: 16 For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. This scripture can bring us that peace of knowing that even the devil was created by God and therefor he can’t harm us.
